Some of the most common diagnoses on the unit are: CHF, COPD, Sepsis, substance withdrawal, GIB, A-fib. Travelers on the unit will do a few kinds of of titratable drips, including diltiazem and insulin. PRMCE does both on the unit and remote telemetry monitoring. Typically between 4-6 patients. Staffing matrix for RNs is the same on days/nights/ weekends/ 32 bed unit.
