This is a 32-bed IMC unit. In this role, travelers will care for patients with a wide variety of medical needs, which makes this a great role for travelers looking to develop new skills. Some commonly treated diagnoses include patients recovering from Thoracic procedures such as Lobectomy, Pneumectomy, Esophagectomy, Vascular procedures such as Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Graphs, as well as TAVR, Tracheostomy, BiPap, HFNC, Covid, and multi-organ Sepsis.

This unit is well known for great teamwork and flexibility. It is a great environment for travelers who enjoy a fast-paced workplace, critical thinking, and a challenge. The unit has fantastic preceptors and charge nurses working alongside new caregivers to ease the way. Extra unit details:
We have CNA support on the unit. We staff with 3-4 CNAs on dayshift and 2-3 CNAs on night shift. Other layers of support include an IV therapy team for IV starts and line draws, Transport team for transfer to other units and to procedures, Lab draw all labs.
