As a Certified NP, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!
- Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Prescribe medications and create treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
- NP License (or eligibility to obtain)
