Schedule:
Flexible to work all shifts and OT. PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Structures Mechanic for a high-visibility, production-driven aircraft modification program. This is not light maintenance work. This role demands precision, independence, and proven Airbus expertise. As a Structures Mechanic, you will play a critical role in executing structural modifications on heavy commercial Airbus aircraft. Your work will directly impact aircraft quality, safety, and delivery timelines in a production-focused environment where precision and accountability are essential. This position requires a highly skilled professional who can independently complete structural Engineering Orders while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Execute structural Engineering Orders independently with minimal supervision
- Perform heavy aircraft modifications and cabin reconfigurations
- Remove and reinstall monuments with zero rework expectations
- Complete hard point precision installations to exact engineering specifications
- Perform cold working and flap peening processes
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Ensure all structural work meets quality, conformity, and safety standards
- Work efficiently in a production-driven environment with high visibility and performance expectations
- Adapt to changing production schedules and support overtime as business needs evolve
- Minimum of 3+ years of heavy commercial aircraft structures experience
- Recent Airbus aircraft experience (required – only candidates with Airbus experience will be considered)
- Proven experience in heavy modification and cabin reconfiguration programs
- Monument removal and reinstallation experience without rework
- Hard point precision installation experience
- Cold working and flap peening experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a modification environment
- Flexibility to work overtime as production demands require
- Experience in high-volume production modification programs
- Strong ability to interpret complex engineering documentation
- Proven track record of delivering defect‑free structural work in deadline‑driven environments

Pay Details$33.43 – $37.15 per hour.
