Plumbing Operations Manager

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 per year (plus performance bonuses)

We are looking for a powerhouse leader to helm our Plumbing Division. As the Plumbing Manager, you aren’t just overseeing pipes and permits; you are scaling a team, optimizing workflows, and ensuring every residential project meets our gold standard for quality. You will have full departmental P&L responsibility, from budgeting and resource allocation to technician mentorship and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team of plumbers and apprentices. You’ll foster a culture of safety, professional growth, and accountability.

Operational Excellence: Oversee the master schedule for installations, repairs, and maintenance. You will manage dispatching and on-call rotations to ensure 100% coverage and efficiency.

Financial Stewardship: Manage the departmental budget, monitor project expenditures, and drive strategies to increase revenue while reducing callbacks and warranty costs.

Quality & Compliance: Act as the technical authority on local and state codes. You’ll perform regular quality audits and ensure all necessary permits are secured and closed.

Client Relations: Translate complex plumbing needs into clear proposals for clients, ensuring their expectations are managed and exceeded from estimate to invoice.

A Master of the Craft: You have deep technical knowledge of plumbing systems and the regulatory landscape in Washington.

A Strategic Thinker: You look at the "big picture"—using data and financials to optimize inventory, minimize waste, and maximize the productivity of your field team.

An Effective Communicator: Whether you’re leading a morning huddle or resolving a client concern, you speak with clarity, empathy, and authority.

Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in plumbing management or a senior supervisory role.

Licensing: Current Plumbing License/Certification is required.

Technical

Skills:

Strong proficiency in MS Office and experience managing departmental budgets/P&L.

Education: High School Diploma required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
