Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while actively strengthening a proactive, people‑first safety culture.
In this role, you will work closely with Operations leadership and Human Resources, interact daily with project leaders and employees, and manage the Safety Team. You will identify opportunities for improvement, lead safety initiatives, analyze incidents, and ensure the workplace not only meets legal requirements—but exceeds them.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Partner with leadership to establish and sustain a strong, company‑wide safety culture
- Maintain deep knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, programs, and procedures
- Analyze incident reports, metrics, and near‑miss data to identify trends and reduce risk
- Identify root causes of accidents and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and self‑assessments across facilities
- Oversee audits with local, state, and third‑party agencies
- Facilitate safety meetings, Safety Committee obligations, and regulatory inspections
- Propose and lead company‑wide safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response plans and procedures
- Identify training needs and development opportunities for Safety Team members
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Safety Team through regular meetings and coaching
- Complete all required safety reporting, including OSHA 300 logs
- Ensure all work aligns with internal policies, approved manuals, contract requirements, and industry best practices
- Prepare reports and documentation using Word, Excel, PDF editing tools, and email communication
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- 5+ years of experience as a safety representative in manufacturing or construction
- 3+ years of experience as a Safety Supervisor with direct team management responsibility
- OSHA 30 certification (or higher) required
- First Aid/CPR certification required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to analyze data, assess risk, and drive meaningful change
- $41–$45/hour
