The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level System Design and Integration Specialist to join the team in Everett, WA;
Renton, WA;
North Charleston, SC; or Berkeley, MO.
The selected candidate will support end-to-end lifecycle management of factory floor devices within designated production environments, ensuring seamless integration into the enterprise network fabric. Responsibilities include asset discovery and inventory management of OT endpoints, and leveraging specialized databases to maintain accurate device registries. You will perform network migration readiness assessments, evaluating each device’s operational and security posture to determine suitability for transition into enhanced security zones.
You will architect and document access zone designs aligned with OT network segmentation best practices, supporting robust cybersecurity frameworks. Collaborating with production leadership and cross-functional teams, you will orchestrate device migration activities, coordinating support requests and minimizing operational disruptions. Post-migration, you will document device configurations and state changes to maintain an up-to-date operational baseline.
- Performs product and component management to ensure technical viability and cost-effectiveness from evaluation through implementation and support to retirement
- Uses technical expertise to answer technical questions regarding usage, troubleshooting, and functionality of delivery systems products to ensure effective implementation and usage
- Applies knowledge of computing systems to choose appropriate troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex delivery systems problems
- Works with appropriate product supplier for enhancements and issues not resolved in-house
- Chooses appropriate computing products and methods to meet security, problem management, capacity/performance management and operational management requirements
- Documents resolutions/analyses according to support procedures
- 3+ years of experience translating complex business requirements into actionable IT solutions
- 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
- 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams and external customers
- 1+ years of experience with network systems
- 1+ years of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing IT systems related problems
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience with Network Design
- Experience with Factory Operational Technology Systems

Pay is based on experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $112,200 - $162,150
