• Provide nursing care to patients who require observation for conditions such as chest pain, respiratory distress, minor injuries, or postoperative monitoring.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide treatment according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients under observation.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Perform timely documentation of patient progress, interventions, and responses to treatments in the electronic health record.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition, responding promptly and effectively to any signs of deterioration or emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills while working closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.

Candidate requirements

• Active RN license in Washington.
• 1+ year of acute care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while providing compassionate care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education and collaboration.
