Senior Helpers, a Joint Commission Certified company, is recruiting a Medical Assistant for a 13-week contract in Everett, WA.

Base pay range: $35.00/hr - $35.00/hr

About the Medical Assistant Position
The Medical Assistant works with general methods and procedures, exercising independent judgement and reviewing the work of subordinate technicians. The role reports to the franchise owner/manager and client supervisors.

Compensation
: $35/hour.

Requirements

  • Completion of a medical assistant course or comparable training.
  • 1 year experience preferred.
  • National medical assistant certification (some clients may require).

Credentials required

  • Current health provider CPR from the American Heart Association at the BLS level.
  • 1 year experience required.
  • Valid WA MA license.

Environmental Working Conditions

  • Work sites vary.
  • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
  • Physical demands such as reading medical equipment and documents; pushing carts and equipment may be required.

Representative Duties and Responsibilities

  • Comply with ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures.
  • Maintain records, prepare reports and correspondence.
  • Knowledge of laboratory terminology and equipment as required.
  • Analyze blood, sputum, milk, water, urine, food products, soil, waste.
  • Maintain confidentiality related to patient, family, client facility staff in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Provide patient care in a non‑judgmental, non‑discriminatory manner respecting cultural diversity.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
