Sterile Processing Technician - FTE Evening

Description

$5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Prepares, packages and sterilizes all reusable medical supplies and linens used by Providence Health System, Everett. Collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire

• Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work.

• 1 year Prior Sterile Processing Tech experience in a hospital setting.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
