About the Job:Under the direction a manager or their designee, the work of employees in this classification is centered on providing a high level of customer service the community and through constituent responses. Employees in this classification serve as a primary link between residents, groups, and City government. The work includes responding to inquiries from community members and groups, interpreting and responding to their requests, and providing a link between residents, City staff, and community organizations.
Employees in this classification serve as communication and engagement conduits to the City's elected officials and management team, providing updates on a wide a variety of issues brought to them by community members. Individuals assigned to this classification will also provide administrative staff support to the Engagement team and Mayor as designated.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in social science, Public Administration, or a related field and
- 3 years of experience in community organizing or in the operation of a community based organization.
