Cost Accountant

Cost Accountant - direct hire, full-time employee

Everett, WA - on-site Monday - Thursday, Friday optional remote

Support product costing, manufacturing cost analysis, inventory valuation, and month‑end close for inventory and COGS. Provide financial insights that improve pricing, profitability, and operational performance.

• Lead month‑end close for inventory and COGS.
• Analyze COGS, variances, and budget vs. actual results.
• Provide manufacturing cost, inventory, and expense analysis for decision support.
• Maintain item masters, BOMs, and standard costs; manage cost rolls.
• Evaluate cost impacts from material, design, or process changes.
• Monitor overhead/burden rates and partner with Operations.
• Improve cost‑accounting processes, controls, and ERP data accuracy.
• Lead excess/obsolete inventory reviews and support plant efficiency metrics.
• Support job/project cost accounting and policy documentation.

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years cost accounting experience, in the Manufacturing industry required
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling ability.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience automating or streamlining processes.
