Position: 16523 Risk Analyst II or III (Enterprise Risk Management)

Risk Analyst – Level 2 or Level 3

We are recruiting for either a Level 2 or Level 3 Risk Analyst. The successful candidate will be placed at the appropriate level depending on skills, abilities, and qualifications.

Basic Responsibilities
  • Focus on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), supporting the continued development, implementation, and long‑term growth of the ERM program.
  • Work cooperatively to support the protection of District assets through risk identification, evaluation, and prioritization in areas including but not limited to finance, operations, technology, compliance, and governance.
  • Collaborate with all business areas and functions to support assessments of efficacy in current and long‑term decision making.
  • Provide recommendations and enhancements to support implementation of the process and design of controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • Support collaborative relationships with the District’s internal and external risk‑management partners.
  • Support periodic update of program policies and procedures.
  • Support the District’s core values and strategic priorities by working as a trusted finance partner with all divisions throughout the District.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Risk Analyst II ($91,215.00 – $): Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Statistics, Engineering, or other related quantitative field, and two (2) years of progressive experience in a risk analysis or related experience.
  • Risk Analyst III ($ – $): Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Statistics, Engineering, or other related quantitative field, and four (4) years of progressive experience in a risk analysis or related experience.
