The Quality Engineer III (QE) is responsible for various phases of managing the NAT approved Quality System. This position requires analytical capabilities, demonstrated problem solving experience, and team-building skills. The Quality Engineer works directly with all departments at NAT and its suppliers and reports directly to the Director of Quality

-Manage NAT's nonconformance process, tool calibration and conduct investigations and corrective actions into product failures and external and internal non-conformities.

-Conduct internal and external quality audits of NAT's Quality Management System (QMS) and suppliers.

-Assist Quality leadership in regards to testing/inspecting process for related products.

-Assist testers and other personnel with the use of the various tools and testing techniques that Quality employs.

-Pull monthly metrics on defects, and conduct pareto analysis of defects.

-Conduct contract review as quality engineering focal, and ensure customer requirements are flow to the organization and suppliers as applicable.

-Manage document updates and approvals through internal document control system

-Manage drawing review and approvals for Quality Department.

-Identify required tooling and inspection equipment as part of new product introduction.

-Serve as quality focal for Integrated Product Teams as applicable.

-Other duties assigned by Quality department management.
