Wiring Design Engineer (Experienced or Senior)

Boeing is inviting applications for the role of Wiring Design Engineer (Experienced or Senior) across our Electrical Technical Center in Everett, WA and Renton, WA, within the Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) Electrical design organization.
As part of this organization, you will define and develop sophisticated wiring harness systems for advanced Commercial Aircraft.
Position Responsibilities- Develop and maintain electrical wire harness detail, assembly and installation designs for our diverse portfolio of advanced Commercial Aircraft. This includes integrating functional system requirements into an efficient logical and physical wire harness architecture throughout the airplane, while ensuring that safety and quality are the number one priority.
- Develop and analyze engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests and shop revision requests) and collaborate with factory floor partners to ensure designs can be built efficiently and safely.
- Follow and look for improvements to documented processes, specifications and procedures that support safe and quality design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Develop basic statements of work, participate in technical supplier capability reviews and analyze functional and physical requirements to assure integrated designs and system architecture.
- Work with and under general supervision of a lead engineer and an expert mentor to enhance both your technical learning and career growth.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; you must be a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- At least 3 years of experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design.
- At least 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years of experience using wire design tools such as WIRS, MAPPER, CADDS and/or Capital Logic.

Summary Pay Range- Experienced (Level
3): $104,550 – $141,450 - Senior (Level
4): $128,350 – $173,650
