OverviewThe Product Engineering Manager for Pressure & Temperature Calibration has direct accountability for a defined portfolio of calibration products and the underlying technologies that enable them. This role owns end-to-end product delivery and lifecycle management, ensuring products meet performance, quality, compliance, and customer expectations from concept through deployment and sustaining. The role leads multidisciplinary engineering teams and applies strong systems engineering practices to deliver cohesive, scalable, and high‑quality calibration products aligned with business strategy and customer needs.
WhatYou Will Do
- Own end-to-end product delivery and lifecycle management for pressure and temperature calibration products, from concept through sustaining
- Lead cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver cohesive, scalable, and high‑quality products
- Define and validate system architectures, ensuring performance, quality, and compliance requirements are met
- Partner with Product Management and customers to define clear, actionable product and system requirements
- Lead technical feasibility reviews, design reviews, and risk mitigation activities
- Drive strong systems engineering practices across requirements, integration, verification, and lifecycle processes
- Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and competitive trends to ensure strong business impact
- Guide continuous improvement of development processes, documentation, and design rigor
- Support innovation, early‑stage exploration, and identification of IP and standards opportunities
- Delivering complex calibration products with high accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance
- Balancing technical excellence, execution predictability, and time‑to‑market
- Managing system‑level trade‑offs across hardware, firmware, sensing, manufacturing, and quality
- Reducing technical risk early while avoiding late‑stage surprises and rework
- Maintaining long‑term technical health and knowledge continuity across product generations
- Integrating customer feedback into product improvements while managing portfolio priorities
- Driving alignment across multiple teams, functions, and stakeholders without direct authority
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in product development, systems engineering, or calibration‑related engineering
- Proven experience leading products across the full lifecycle
- Solid understanding of systems engineering methodologies and best practices
- Ability to influence and lead cross‑functional teams in complex environments
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills
- Expertise in pressure or temperature calibration, sensing technologies or metrology is a plus
