Overview
BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Aerospace Production Certification Instructor in Everett, WA 98204. Must have technical skills to teach aerospace courses. This role supports production certification training and requires the ability to instruct technical content in electrical, mechanical, sealant, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) disciplines. Position is a 4+ months contract with the possibility for extensions.

Job Type: Contract
Pay Range: $30-$32/hr + Mileage Expense Reimbursement
(Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).)
Note: The hiring manager is seeking candidates with prior training or instructional experience. Curriculum client specific training will be provided for this role.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Experience instructing technical courses.
- Strong presentation and classroom management skills.
- Strong technical skills background.
- Experience working with production standards and certification programs.
- Ability to adapt training style for different skill levels.
- Dress code is business casual
- Physical requirements (e.g., lifting, walking between 5 buildings, moving equipment)
- Standing up to teach all-day
- Schedule requirements and overtime expectations: 40-43hrs/week.

- Everett only with travel up to 25% (averages out to about 1 week per month at a new site; mileage will be reimbursed)
- Mileage reimbursement for qualifying commutes (miles beyond home to closest work location; submit expense)
- Electrical aircraft installations and assembly work
- Electrical functional test troubleshooting
- Electrical crimping
- Electrical soldering
- Basic mechanical skills
- Electrical installations, bonding & grounding
- Aircraft assembly, heavy structure drilling, and/or maintenance
- Blueprints, production standards, and/or functional test
- Aircraft systems operations, familiarization, and troubleshooting
- Experience in the application of aircraft sealant
- Clean and apply sealant to aircraft components
- Experience in Confined Space, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), DOT, and Fall Protection
