Employee Development Specialist/Instructional Designer
2nd Shift - 2 PM - 10:30 PM
12+ Months Contract
Position Responsibilities- Ability to apply knowledge of instructional skills (e.g. preparation, delivery, summary, assess student progress, remediation, motivation, engagement, etc.)
- Using a variety of media, clearly conveys information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the content.
- Identifies business specific learning objectives and adapts curriculum content and delivery methods
- Identifies potential issues that impact performance and recommends development of improvement recommendations
- Able to assess requirements and schedule courses and instructors
- Analyze, validate, optimize and coordinate training requests for new hire, recall, and transfer employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite on 2nd Shift.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)- Experience with giving presentations and public speaking
- 1+ years of experience using reporting tools
- 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with designing, developing, and/or delivering course content and instructional materials
- Experience teaching a technical subject matter in an adult learning environment
- Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) process knowledge
- Strong experience with Electrical systems (re: fabrication, installations, testing, troubleshooting)
- Strong experience with Production System (BPS) and Quality Management System (QMS) Experience with operating/navigating:
Wireshop Homepage, BAC specifications (D6-36911), Standard Work Instructor (SWI), Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), Redars - Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using My Learning or other Learning Management Systems
- Experience organizing, prioritizing and paying attention to detail while ensuring accuracy
