Position Summary

Professional Transportation Inc. is seeking a driver to travel across the country. The role offers a starting pay of $15.00/hr, a guaranteed weekly rate of $350, plus a $40/day per diem while on assignment.

• Provide safe and reliable van transportation services for our customers, while following local, state, and federal traffic laws.
• Be paid while traveling to and from an assignment, and for work at the assigned location.
• Travel assignments are on an as needed basis and are not always guaranteed.

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Must be able to pass background checks for all customers.
• Must be able to travel on an as needed basis and commit to being out for a minimum of 30 days at a time.
• Ability to work only on a Special Project assignment when not at a local branch.
• Employee will receive a fuel card that is deactivated when not on assignment; must follow all policies related to its use.
• Assignments are not always guaranteed.
• All assignment movements are assigned by seniority within the company.

Frequently: lifting up to 15 lbs., kneeling, stooping, bending, leaning, performing multiple physical activities simultaneously. Constantly: hearing/listening, clear speech, simple touching, walking (inside and outside), pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, driving vehicle, seeing.

• Employee may receive a daily stipend or daily bonus depending on the assignment.
• Travel (air or ground) paid by the company, including one luggage fee covered.
• If flying, company reimburses standard bag rate; if over, employee responsible.
• Receipts must be submitted by the employee.
• Hotel paid by the company (rates, taxes, incidentals).
• If a rental car is required for travel or special project assignments, the company will cover the cost.
