Project description
One of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry has a need to develop and support enterprise information system in Oil & Gas domain.
Responsibilities- Build and tune numerical optimization workflows (e.g., Bayesian optimization) to improve model/system performance.
- Develop and maintain scientific/HPC code in Fortran.
- Work independently on research, problem solving, and delivery with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with international teams (US/China).
- Strong mathematical education and proven professional experience applying it in practice.
- Solid knowledge of Fortran.
- Hands‑on experience with numerical optimization for models/systems, such as Bayesian optimization (this is the most critical requirement).
- Ability to work independently for extended periods, with minimal supervision.
- PhD is a strong plus.
- Prior experience in the oil & gas domain is a plus.
