Kenny Kent Chevrolet Service Technician
We are looking for an individual who is willing to work in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment. We need team players with a positive attitude. We are seeking an experienced service technician that performs vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
ScheduleMonday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Saturday based on business levels you may be required to work on a Saturday.

- Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair as authorized.
- Perform Multi Point Vehicle Inspection.
- Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
- Tag and save parts, turn in parts, if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
- Advise service advisor immediately if any additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed with the promised time.
- Document work performed.
- Road-test vehicles to ensure repair has addressed the customer complaint.
- Quality check work performed.
- Attend training classes.
- Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
- Ensure that customers’ vehicles are kept clean.
- Administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, governing service repair work.
- 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
- B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Valid driver s license and clean driving record
