American Window and Glass is seeking a dedicated, technically skilled, and highly motivated Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Evansville, IN.
Qualifications:- Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience (mechanical, electrical, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, or robotics) related to equipment installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
- Fabrication
Skills:
Strong abilities in creating or modifying parts. - Welding Proficiency: Experience in stick welding for repairs and modifications.
- Mechanical Background: Solid experience as an industrial mechanic, particularly with motors, pumps, and conveyor systems.
- Maintenance Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential maintenance issues.
- Fabricate and install parts as needed.
- Execute stick welding for repairs and modifications.
- Assist with industrial mechanic duties, such as repairing motors, pumps, and conveyor systems.
- Carry out general maintenance tasks, including lubricating machinery and replacing filters.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve maintenance challenges.
- Test and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems.
- Complete maintenance work orders and machine modifications promptly.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
- Document work performed through written and electronic methods.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- This job requires a full range of hand motions including the ability to push, pull, squeeze, and grip.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Ability to walk and stand on concrete for 8+ hr shifts
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, and reach above head for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to effectively communicate in English including both verbal and written communication
- Day shift/4 day work week/occasional overtime on weekends required or available depending on business needs
