Carpenter (Measure Technician) at Great Day Improvements

As a Carpenter / Measure Technician, you will be responsible for accurately measuring the customer’s home for installations and completing service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Measure customer homes accurately for window and related installations.
• Repair windows, siding, and sunrooms as needed.
• Order and track repair and installation services.
• Assist management with reporting and communication as requested.
• Interact with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs.
• Safely perform all aspects of the job in compliance with federal, state and local laws.

• High School diploma or GED preferred; construction trade school a plus.
• 3 to 5 years in home improvement / construction involving carpentry, roofing and window installation.
• Experience with using a brake and other hand tools (utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc.) is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Math skills including using a tape measure and angles.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
