AboutThe Role
The Security Staff position is a critical role focused on ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and digital assets. This role involves monitoring the building and grounds security and performing custodial services and assigned duties as scheduled. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with operations teams to maintain a secure environment. Additionally, the role requires continuous assessment and improvement of security protocols to adapt to evolving threats.
Ultimately, this position aims to create a safe and secure atmosphere that supports the overall mission and operations.
- Monitor and manage physical security systems and access controls across facilities.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, including alarms, breaches, or suspicious activities.
- Performing custodial services and assigned duties as scheduled.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of security activities, incidents, and investigations.
- Participate in regular security audits and training sessions to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be over 18 with a valid Indiana operator's license.
- Experience with security operations.
- Prior experience working in healthcare or senior living facility security environments.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
