Account Executive, Southern Indiana (Evansville and Bloomington)
Exciting field‑sales position and reports to a Regional Manager – Prenatal. The role delivers clinical information to external clients throughout your territory and internal teams, shaping how the test is communicated to physicians and patients. You will uniquely bring the only single‑gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screen to OBGYN clinics and MFM practices.
Responsibilities- Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and drive market development through direct sales to individual OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
- Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders in medicine and key health‑care professionals.
- Effectively prospect and cultivate new business while maintaining key relationships.
- Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities for growth within the region – predominantly in OBGYN, MFM, GC clinics, hospital systems, and federally qualified health centers.
- Create and implement a strategic business plan to grow utilization quickly in your geography.
- Manage the full lifecycle of the product sales process, including new business development and lead generation.
- Attend local trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
- Minimum three (3) years of outside field sales experience within the healthcare sector, directly calling upon providers in a specified geographic territory.
- Demonstrated successful sales track record, understanding of buyer/decision‑maker types, and effective selling, listening, presentation skills with the ability to assess and respond to customer needs (national awards a plus).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to present effectively to both internal and external customers.
- Effective time‑management and ability to prioritize opportunities.
- Bright, flexible, self‑motivated, results‑oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills and the ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically.
- Sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
- Consultative sales skills for medical professionals and staff, coordinating logistics and problem‑solving.
- Desire to work in a startup environment, working independently with internal drive to succeed.
- Knowledge of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics surrounding patient privacy and information.
- Demonstrated values and ethics that support Billion To One ’s mission, goals, and professional code of conduct.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling patient and physician information and documentation.
