Base Pay Range

$55,000.00 per year - $65,000.00 per year

Overview

Our client provides application engineering, technical services, and manufacturing to supply components for industrial machinery. With over 80 years of combined experience in the paper industry, we help customers identify and solve drive train problems.

Responsibilities
  • Outstanding organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Participate in on‑site sales and gear inspections.
  • Develop technical knowledge to effectively communicate products and gear inspection services to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Maintain consistent contact with existing customers and make cold calls to prospective customers.
  • Make in‑person visits to prospects and existing customers, generating leads and quotes all the way to sale.
  • Create, submit, and follow up on quotes and RFQs.
  • Document and track progress for new and existing business opportunities; rate high, medium, and low potential.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and update the database.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Use ladders and other equipment safely to ascend or descend.
  • Provide customer support during field visits.
  • Cooperate with the technical team and share information with the company.
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine cost‑effective solutions.
  • Follow all time‑keeping and billing requirements.
  • Hold a valid driver license in good standing and operate the vehicle safely.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Work flexibly as part of a team and individually.
  • Follow all company policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Maintain monthly itinerary on wall calendar and Outlook calendar; submit daily briefs and weekly reports as required.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma, trade school, or college degree (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical troubleshooting (paper industry experience preferred).
  • Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
  • Good vision, hearing, and sense of smell for safety in the shop.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Perks

Above base pay plus uncapped commissions and company vehicle. Established customer base can lead to six‑figure income in the first year.
