This is a training role designed to prepare the Sales Trainee for the Account Sales Manager (ASM) role. The role primarily supports sales initiatives and provides route coverage for the ASM during vacation, sickness, injury or other special projects as needed. The ST will work with management to maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising and operations for all large and small format off-premise stores.
The ST must effectively service all customers in a safe, productive and professional manner in compliance with Red Bull executional standards.

- Participate in training with ASMs and progress through the program toward ASM opportunities.
- Assist with in-route and off-route activities as defined in the training program.
- The Sales Trainee (ST) is a training role. Upon successful participation in the training program, the ST is eligible to interview for open ASM roles.
- Upon program completion and certification, if no ASM or other qualified role is available and performance standards are met, the ST may remain in the ST role up to 12 months (or until an ASM or another qualified role is available).
- If an ASM or another qualified role becomes available, the certified ST must interview for that role.
- If promotion to ASM (or another role) does not occur before the end of the 12-month period, the ST role may be vacated unless an extension is approved by management.
- With continued high performance and no open roles, a manager may extend the completion period by up to 6 additional months.
- The ST role is at-will; the company or ST may terminate employment at any time, with or without cause.
- Understand the basics of Red Bull and Red Bull Distribution Company, the brand and products.
- Build and protect the Red Bull brand through proper product rotation to ensure freshness and proper brand flow.
- Establish and maintain friendly, professional relationships with customers to increase sales.
- Obtain tools (insights, displays, point of sale, pricing, etc.) to execute the daily plan.
- Effectively communicate daily priorities with ASMs/DSMs and train with ASMs.
- Support the global strategy for in-store execution measured by Winning vs Competition (WVC) and Perfect Store Audit (PSA).
- Cover ASM routes as needed and meet daily KPIs focused on sales, distributions, pricing, display, new accounts and merchandising.
- Support the team with audits, blitzes, displays, and merchandising to drive the sales business.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Valid US Driver’s License and obtainment of DOT Medical Card
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Experience in customer service and sales is a plus
- Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays
- English; additional languages are an advantage
