Position: (USA) Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Position Summary

What you’ll do is to collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, mentor new technicians, and communicate to provide safe and efficient customer service. You’ll demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications and seasonality, and possess knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques.

You’ll leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement by using handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training. You’ll adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.

You’ll communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs, track and monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory, audit safety and compliance standards, report complaints and safety hazards, complete paperwork and documentation, and ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored according to company policies. You’ll identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues and concerns.

You’ll be a Talent Ambassador and brand advocate by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service and products, developing and inspiring others, and working in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style. You’ll understand roadblocks and assist in training team members.

You’ll comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by implementing action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices. You’ll complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks with policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners, identifying priorities and deadlines, communicating progress, and adapting to feedback and change.
