We are looking for dedicated team members to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. You will establish and maintain a safe, clean environment that encourages customers to return. Responsibilities
Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the Point of Sale system, handling various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, loyalty offers, coupons, and checkout procedures according to company policy.Rotate all merchandise according to code dating policies, check product quality for freshness, and review sell-by dates.Promote trust and respect among team members.Create a welcoming environment by answering questions and assisting customers.Maintain knowledge of products and make suggestions to customers.Greet, engage, and assist customers, informing them of specials.Order, label, stock, and inventory merchandise, reporting discrepancies to management.Adhere to cash handling limits and safety guidelines, including restricted sale items.Stay current with advertising and promotional campaigns.Follow all food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.Practice safety and preventive maintenance, inspecting equipment and reporting issues.Notify management of accidents and unsafe conditions.Perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, bending, and climbing as required.Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.Support diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.Qualifications
- Basic math skills and effective communication.
- Ability to complete cashier training and memorize product information.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Experience - Customer service and retail experience.
