Position Title: Sales Associate

Reports To: Store Leader

Classification: Part-Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly

The Sales Associate ensures every Range USA customer is provided assistance and knowledge to fulfill their desired experience by being proficient in product knowledge, selling skills, and operations. The main responsibility is to convert customers to buyers.

• Commitment to the mission of Range USA by providing the easiest and best customer service.
• Provide outstanding customer service dedicated to exceeding expectations.
• Greet customers and facilitate the experience.
• Ask for the sale to fulfill desired experience.
• Ensure customers leave with complete packages supporting their main purchase.
• Inform customers of services, discounts, offers, sales, and promotions.
• Conduct range customer check‑in efficiently.
• Maintain range timer for proper tracking.
• Ensure efficient and compliant range firearm rental process.
• Use radios to communicate with Range Safety Officer.
• Answer product pricing, features, benefits, and availability questions.
• Maintain compliance with government agencies including 4473 and background checks.
• Stay current on new products and industry news.
• When acting as an ecommerce picker, check the pickup dashboard every hour and pick new orders.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1‑2 years of customer service sales experience preferably in specialty retail.
• Ability to understand and follow complex compliance regulations.
• Availability to work flexible schedule, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age.

• Extended periods of standing.
• Lifting/pushing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Working at heights up to 10'.
