Store - Huck's Sales Associate

Job title:

Sales Associate, Full or Part Time. Huck’s is an employee-owned company. Associates are expected to provide fast, friendly service and maintain high standards for customer service and store cleanliness. The customer is the most important person in all our stores.

• Customer Service:
  Greets all customers promptly and provides courteous service, ensures store appearance reflects company standards, ensures the store is open and ready for business, and handles customer conflicts using the MAKE IT RIGHT method.
• General
  
  Job Duties:
  
  Supports the Vision/Mission Statement (T.H.A.N.K.S), completes tasks as assigned by the Store Manager, follows all laws pertaining to store operation, adheres to posted work schedule, operates within company guidelines, informs Store Manager of sales, cash, or operating discrepancies, participates in company contests, and engages in suggestive selling.
• Accounting:
  Completes shift checklist, records hours worked, rings all sales, and records voids, refunds, and price overrides accurately.
• Human Resources:
  Advises Store Manager of personnel issues or policy violations affecting store performance, treats coworkers and customers with dignity and respect, records hours worked, and complies with the Company Responsible Retailing policy.
• Security:
  Follows cash handling procedures, maintains a safe shopping and working environment, protects company assets, follows vendor check-in procedures, ensures cash is stored securely, and adheres to shift change procedures.
• Merchandising:
  Keeps coolers, shelves, and displays stocked; cleans and maintains equipment; uses correct pricing; employs suggestive selling per Store Manager guidance.
• Maintenance:
  Keeps store floors clean, checks refrigeration temperatures, cleans windows and surfaces, follows shift duty checklist, reports maintenance issues to the Store Manager.
• Safety:
  Ensures proper use of ladders and lifting procedures, uses wet floor signs, and reports accidents to the Store Manager and corporate office.
• Huck’s Bucks Loyalty App:
  Promotes the loyalty app, explains benefits to customers, monitors for misuse of points or discounts, and assists customers with sign-up and use for discounts.
