Full time: 30‑40 hours per week (day & evening shifts).

East Side Animal Hospital is a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, one of a network of 400 clinics. We provide primary, emergency, urgent care, boarding, and bathing services for dogs and cats in Evansville, Newburgh and the Tristate Area. AAHA accredited.

• Assisting DVMs during procedures by restraining animals, conducting tests, monitoring vitals, and administering medications.
• Maintaining medical records and communicating with clients about treatment plans and costs.
• Maintaining examination, treatment, and surgical suite, including equipment such as anesthetic machines, monitors, X‑ray machines, dental, and autoclaving equipment.
• Comfortable and confident handling dogs and cats of all sizes.

• Efficient for veterinarians by relieving them of technical and administrative work.
• Flexible schedule and capable of cross‑training as a receptionist when needed.
• Loves animals and warmly welcomes and compassionately cares for clients and patients.
• 1‑2 years prior veterinary technician experience at a clinic – highly preferred.
• Registered Veterinary Technician or nearing eligibility preferred; open to experienced veterinary assistant.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
