Job Overview
Day to day, you would be responsible for providing care to patients. Our nursing staff demonstrates their knowledge, critical thinking, and judgment. Services provided by the RN include; supervising care delivered, coordinating plans of care, and providing education for patients/families. As a Level II Trauma Center, the Surgical Trauma Cardiovascular ICU (STICU/4800) provides critical care to all general surgical, trauma, cardiothoracic, neuro surgical and general medical ICU patients.
The universal concept of the 22-bed unit allows for the ability to scale the patient beds and staffing levels to meet the acuity of the patients. STICU patient population includes adult and pediatric trauma patients who suffer life threatening or potentially life-threatening traumatic injuries. STICU also specializes in open heart recovery, AAA and carotid artery repair as well as other thoracic and vascular surgeries.
Knowledgeable staff are able to perform CRRT and ECMO. All rooms are monitored and eight rooms are equipped to provide hemodialysis at bedside.

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensed state
