Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Location:

Evansville, IN. Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.

• Overall Facility Maintenance results – Work on assigned tasks to ensure machinery and equipment are maintained for proper functioning, as well as preventive maintenance and upkeep of all buildings throughout the facility and doing so in a safe manner. Assignment will include variety of tasks based on the skillset of the employee.
• Continuous Improvement – Recognize areas for improvement and offer suggestions to the proper authority (supervisor, EHS, Quality). Be able to troubleshoot and problem-solve to keep the facility in operation.
• Work area – Maintain a clean and safe workspace for the employee and coworkers before, during, and after shift.
• Review work instructions associated with the above- mentioned job title and regularly attend company-wide training on areas such as Corporate Ethics, Safety, Environmental, etc.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass company standard, multi-craft testing
• Ability to pass a color deficiency test
• Ability to work evenings and weekend hours if required
• General problem solving, multi-craft maintenance background
• Excellent punctuality and attendance
• Successful completion of background check, education verification, reference check, Wonderlic, color deficiency test, hands‑on skill test, and post‑offer physical

• Prefer a 2‑year degree in a trades area and/or journeyman card
• 3–5+ years’ experience in maintenance, electrical area

• Task oriented with a high attention to detail
• Ability to follow direction and meet critical time deadlines
• Ability to operate machinery, including different types for forklifts
• Shows initiative and drive
• Ability to adhere to all company policies, including Quality/EHS procedures and policies, and all applicable government regulations

• Hourly Wage: $34.00
