Mold Maintenance Technician; Kansas Rd

Job Description Summary

• Work in a neat and orderly manner
• Repair molds in accordance with Tool Shop Work Instructions
• Work with more advanced associates to accomplish repairs
• Work with a variety of associates within Berry to accomplish organized objectives
• Tear down and assemble molds
• Change core inserts & orifice sizes
• Troubleshoot mold problems
• Use precision tools and bench work
• Understanding workings of molds
• Clean Shop as needed
• Be able to lead a repair operation and keep it moving toward completion
• Analyze parts and plan repair procedures
• Detect possible future problems or existing problems during the course of preventive maintenance
• Follows applicable Food Safety and cGMP polices.

• Machine shop Mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry)
• Ability to run conventional machine shop machines (including CNC equipment)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $5,000 to $52,500; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $5,000 to $100,000 depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor's Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.
