Operates Batch Plant to provide a quality concrete product for delivery to customers by performing the following duties. Performs plant manager duties when plant manager is absent.
Responsibilities- Proper plant maintenance
- General upkeep of building and grounds around plant
- Operation of equipment (loaders, skid-steer, etc.)
- Office paperwork and reporting
- Must have good communication and organization skills
- Must have ability to multi-task
- Must have the ability to project a professional attitude when dealing with internal and external customers either by phone or in person
- Performs plant manager duties when plant manager is absent

- Must have knowledge of computer batching systems and components of a batch plant either by formal education or previous experience. Basic knowledge of equipment operation.
High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
