You will be joining a role that supports leadership across three H&R Block tax offices, with an emphasis on developing teams, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving growth objectives during peak tax season.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.
  • Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office-related growth objectives for three offices.
  • Lead daily team meetings, communicate essential information, and create associate work schedules across all offices with accurate timekeeping and labor management.
  • Travel between offices as required.
  • Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Multi-unit people management experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or other related industries (preferred).
  • Ability to execute growth plans and lead toward a growth culture.
  • Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.
  • Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement.
  • Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
  • Conduct timely performance reviews and address issues in collaboration with the Associate Relations Center.
  • Build an engaging team environment across offices by training and coaching associates and recognizing contributions.
  • Lead daily team meetings and ensure effective communication with tax office associates.
  • Prepare associate work schedules across all offices and manage timekeeping and labor for multiple sites.
  • Travel between offices as required.
