Kforce has a client seeking an exciting entry level opportunity for a GIS Analyst I in Evansville, Indiana. The position is onsite, with potential remote Fridays after completing training.

• Research, develop, program, and manage GIS tools, applications, and interfaces.
• Develop, maintain, and support all spatial data systems’ hardware and software.
• Develop and present GIS system and cartographic mapping elements, and integrate them with other technologies for marketing and web-based communication.
• Transpose complex data from various source documents into GIS‑related databases.
• Produce maps, provide web‑based mapping support, develop spatial and non‑spatial databases, and provide technical support to other users.

• Educational background or certification in GIS, Geography, Computer Science or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience required.
• Experience with GIS software such as ESRI, Auto Desk, Bentley, Integraph, ArcGIS Pro (highly preferred), etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of geographic concepts.
• Proficiency in computer systems, applications, and database software.

The pay range provided is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting for this role. The amount may be modified in the future. This role is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
