We are looking for a compassionate, caring and dedicated Patient Intake Specialist I ED to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence.

This position is responsible for greeting, registering, collecting payments from and directing/escorting patients in compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations and hospital policies and procedures. He/She is an ambassador of Deaconess, cultivating a nurturing atmosphere of courtesy, respect, empathy, dignity and optimism.

Completion of High School or GED required. College degree desired. Knowledge of health care revenue cycle preferred. Understanding of insurance is a plus.

Salary and Compensation

We aim to offer a salary that reflects the experience you bring to our team. While the posted range shows the full potential for this role, most offers are made within a range that aligns with typical experience levels for similar positions.

Midtown and Gateway Campus – Mix of 1st and 2nd shift with two 3rd shifts in a 6-week time frame. Rotating Weekends. Patient Intake Specialist ED.
