Job Summary
The Lab QA Regulatory Specialist that Deaconess Clinic Labs are compliant with CAP, COLA, and CLIA regulations. This role provides oversight for laboratory accreditation, quality assurance, and non-laboratory based POC testing. Additionally, the coordinator manages the laboratory QA program, offers continuing education for staff, and orients new employees.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with CAP, COLA, and CLIA regulations.
- Oversee COLA accreditation for Deaconess Clinic Lab-West, Gateway, Reo, and Downtown.
- Supervise non-laboratory POC testing.
- Manage the laboratory QA program, including data gathering, analysis, and meetings.
- Provide continuing education opportunities for staff.
Lab QA Regulatory Specialist
28 Hours per week - Part Time
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
