Labcorp, a leading provider of biometric testing, population health, and workforce wellness services, is seeking qualified medical professionals to conduct testing services at events throughout the North Central Region.
SummaryAs a Venipuncture/Biometric Screener, you will apply your skills in blood draw, participant biometric screening, and event execution. You will schedule yourself for local events, complete pre‑event training on Laboratory Event Scheduler (LES) protocols, set up and dismantle booths, and deliver outstanding customer service to all participants.
Duties / ResponsibilitiesVenipuncture
- Perform venipuncture blood draws
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Conduct participant biometric screenings, including blood pressure and body fat analysis
- Ensure accurate capture of participant information and screening results
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining participant privacy
- Complete administrative and clerical duties as needed
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned
- Conduct participant biometric screenings, including fingerstick blood collection, blood pressure, BMI, and body fat analysis
- Perform COVID‑19 PCR testing, COVID‑19 point‑of‑care antigen testing, and temperature checks
- Ensure accurate capture of participant information and screening results
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining participant privacy
- Complete administrative and clerical duties as needed
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned
Venipuncture
- Medical credentials required (CPT, RN, LPN, etc.)
- Minimum of 1‑year experience performing venipuncture blood draws
- Minimum of 100 successful blood draws in the last 6 months
- Proficient in taking blood pressure
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic tablet and computer skills
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to pass a criminal background check
- Minimum age 18
- Medical credentials strongly preferred (CNA, MA, Phlebotomist, RN, LPN, etc.). Certification or license required by state
- Minimum of 1‑year experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficient in fingerstick blood collection and blood pressure measurement
- Experience with Cholestech LDX preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic tablet and computer skills
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to pass a criminal background check
- Minimum age 18
$18 – $23 per hour
BenefitsFull‑time employees scheduled 20+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Part‑time employees scheduled less than 20 hours per week are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan only. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
