Job Overview:
The Clerical Associates (CA) coordinate daily unit functioning to assist RN, physician, ancillary and support staff to provide high quality patient care. They also provide superior service to all internal and external customers. The CA must be able to demonstrate the proper use of communication devices to carry out unit functioning. The ability to communicate technical and regulatory requirements to key stakeholder groups, including patient and family, accurately and in a service-oriented manner is required.

Description:
The Medical Surgical Unit is 41 bed unit located on the 5th floor Unit 5100/5200 of the Midtown Campus. The unit cares for patients from 18 years of age through geriatric with medical surgical diagnosis that may or may not require remote telemetry monitoring. Scope of care will include medical surgical patients with complication due to pneumonia, COPD & asthma exacerbation, heart failure, and viral/bacterial infections.
