The Community Relations Specialist builds and maintains relationships with healthcare referral sources and community partners to support the growth of UNIFI’s autism therapy centers. Through effective partnership management, this role helps expand access to services and ensures families are guided to care with compassion and trust.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish andmaintainrelationships withpatientreferral sources, including healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations.

• Develop and execute account plans to support the growth and retention of key accounts by increasing referrals.
• Serve as the main contact for referral sources, responding to inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, such as clinical staff, patient engagement, and marketing, to facilitate the provision of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy  services to referred clients.
• Track and review account performance and referral patterns toidentifyareas for improvement and implement relevant initiatives.
• Perform regular account evaluations and prepare reports on account status, referral activity, and potential for growth.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors, and the needs of referral sources toidentifynew opportunities.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and outreach activities to promote Applied Behavior Analysis therapy  services and expand referral networks.
• Adhere to healthcare regulations and privacy requirements, including HIPAA.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of key account management in healthcare and Applied Behavior Analysistherapyfor  children with autism.
• Strong grasp of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy  services and company value proposition.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for presenting and persuading healthcare and building relationships with healthcare stakeholders.
• Skilled at building relationships with accounts and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in data analysis foridentifyingreferral trends and making decisions.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability in healthcare settings.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Strategic thinkerable to develop long-term account plans.
• Proficient with CRM, Microsoft Office, and industry tools.
• Ability tomaintainprofessionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations.

Experience and Education

• Minimum of one year experience ina similar role with an ABA therapy or autism care provider.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.

Work Environment

• The Community Relations Specialist in a hybrid role. Administrative tasks like route planning, calling referral sources, etc. can be completed from home.

• While performing the duties of the position, the Community Relations Specialist must be able to operate standard office equipment and talk and hear (both in-person and by telephone).The employee may occasionally lift and carry up to 15 pounds.

Travel

• The Community Relations Specialist will regularly travel within the Evansville and surrounding area to meet with referral sources.
  
  On occasion, travel outsidetheassigned region may be required.
  
  Mileage can be expensed.
