Mortgage Processor
The Mortgage Processor is responsible for obtaining, processing, and reviewing all required loan documents needed for loan approval. This includes all applicable income, asset, property information, Federal and State disclosures, etc. The successful candidate will facilitate the ordering of all third‑party services including but not limited to appraisal, title, and flood.
Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:- Responsible for processing all types of residential and consumer loan applications.
- Responsible for preparing preliminary disclosures and closing documents on all loan applications.
- Reviews all documentation necessary for loan approval for accuracy and completeness and updates all data in the Loan Origination System when necessary.
- Places third party vendor orders for appraisals, titles and other loan specific requirements pertaining to Federal and State guidelines.
- Assists in responding to questions from consumers throughout the loan process, facilitates scheduling of loan closing.
- Follows-up on outstanding documentation.
- Submit completed loan package to lenders for approval.
- Stays up to date on trends and developments in the local real estate market, as well as changing rules and regulations pertaining to both conventional and government‑insured mortgages.
- Maintain positive working relationship with loan originators, realtors, builders, and customers.
- Perform all duties in relation to the Bank Secrecy Act under the guidance of the BSA Officer.

Experience and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in processing/closing residential mortgages preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
The associate is frequently required to sit and/or stand, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools or controls that are typical of an office/bank environment. Lifting items weighing up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 80% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, etc.
Working Conditions:- Typical office environment.
- Extended viewing of computer screens.
- Periodic travel between locations.
