We are looking for a Quality Engineering Summer 2026 Internto join our Corporate Quality team in our Evansville, Indiana location!
The Quality Engineering Intern will focus on supporting our Corporate Quality Team by working on specific projects focusing on continuous improvement, developing manufacturing and product line processes, while leveraging technology to provide and document their final analysis. This role will be hands on working in both office and manufacturing environments and will provide motivated individuals with a well-rounded experience to accelerate their career.
Responsibilities- Perform failure risk assessment using industry methodologies
- Define and develop quality controls for key manufacturing processes
- Develop visual inspection criteria for manufacturing processes
- Create a standardized Root Cause Analysis database
- Represent FLANDERS both in conduct and appearance in a courteous, professional manner
- Undergraduate student majoring in Engineering, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, concise manner.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong commitment to safety
