H-E Parts International (HEPI) is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor. HEPI is a global leader in aftermarket parts, components, and solutions for the mining and heavy industries. Since 2006, they’ve been dedicated to helping customers maximize equipment performance, reduce operating costs, and improve safety outcomes through advanced engineering, manufacturing, and service excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including those set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other governing bodies.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies and procedures.
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
  • Maintain required safety documentation, permits, and regulatory reports.
  • Deliver safety orientation and ongoing training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Promote hazard recognition and safe work practices.
  • Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency drills.
  • Monitor environmental compliance programs including waste management, spill prevention, air emissions, and stormwater controls.
  • Assist with environmental reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and environmental improvement projects.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
  • Coordinate with site leadership on hazard mitigation strategies.
  • Support workers’ compensation case management and return-to-work programs.
  • Analyze safety performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Encourage employee engagement in safety initiatives.
  • Identify trends and proactively implement corrective measures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of EHS experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or related environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
