Position SummaryThe Chemistry and Biochemistry Department in the College of Science, Engineering, and Education at the University of Southern Indiana invites applications for a 9‑month non‑tenure renewable instructor position beginning Fall 2026.
Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe instructor appointment will include the teaching of non‑majors and majors lecture and laboratory courses, including but not limited to chemistry for allied health students, chemistry for elementary education students, and general chemistry.
Required Knowledge and SkillsA minimum of an M.S. in chemistry or related discipline is required.

The Chemistry & Biochemistry Department offers ACS approved chemistry and biochemistry programs and is well equipped with modern instrumentation. It is home to 11 full‑time faculty members and approximately 85 undergraduate students and offers support courses for many programs at the institution.
