Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice obstetrics and gynecology in Indiana
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
• Proven clinical experience in obstetric hospitalist services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy
• Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with hospital-based obstetric emergency protocols
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Previous locum or hospitalist experience
• Bilingual capabilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• At least 2 years of OB hospitalist experience
• Active Indiana medical license or eligibility for licensure by start date

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on December 31, 2025
• Willingness to work weekend shifts (specifically weekends as per VMS shift)
• Compliance with all hospital and state licensing, certification, and credentialing standards
• Reimbursements for travel, licensure, and certification expenses where applicable
