The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies. The Associate intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner, maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance in line with job requirements.
- Set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using personal computer or mobile device to navigate applications and internal systems. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.
- Physical Demands: Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully loaded, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
