Hourly Pay Range:
$40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:Position: Collaborative Nurse (GYNE)
Location: Kellogg Cancer Center – Evanston
Full Time | 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am - 6pm, no weekends or holidays
Required Travel: Floating required between 3 Kellogg Cancer Centers – Glenview, Highland Park, and Evanston and Southwest Cancer Center
Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition periodically
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Collaborate with assigned physician to facilitate effective clinic operations
Coordinate communications with patient and provider including symptom management
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
Education: Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred.
Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required. BMTCN/OCN certifications preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1 year Oncology experience required.
