Collaborative Registered Nurse - Gyne Oncology

Hourly Pay Range:

$40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Collaborative Nurse (GYNE)

• Location: Kellogg Cancer Center – Evanston

• Full Time | 40 hours/week

• Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am - 6pm, no weekends or holidays

• Required Travel: Floating required between 3 Kellogg Cancer Centers – Glenview, Highland Park, and Evanston and Southwest Cancer Center

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition periodically

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

• Collaborate with assigned physician to facilitate effective clinic operations

• Coordinate communications with patient and provider including symptom management

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

• Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.

• Education: Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred.

• Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required. BMTCN/OCN certifications preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year Oncology experience required.
